Coex
Gatic COEX covers and frames offer a versatile, cost-effective access solution for applications where sealing is not required. Combining a galvanised steel frame with durable ductile iron covers, the COEX system delivers strength, reliability, and reduced weight compared to traditional deep steel or concrete slab solutions.
The system is engineered for slow-moving traffic environments and provides a practical alternative where ease of access, lighter handling, and long-term durability are essential. Precision-machined seating faces ensure a stable, non-rocking fit when installed correctly, while the modular design allows for a wide range of configurations.
Available in single, duct, and multispan arrangements, COEX covers support a variety of underground services, offering flexible solutions for both small chambers and large service trenches.

Gatic COEX Access Covers are engineered as a high-performance, lightweight solution for environments subject to slow-moving traffic loads. Designed without a sealing requirement, they provide an efficient and economical alternative to traditional recessed steel or concrete slab systems.
The system utilises a combination of galvanised structural steel frames and ductile iron covers, delivering excellent durability while allowing for shallower construction depths. This results in reduced unit weight, making handling, installation, and maintenance more efficient without compromising structural performance.
COEX covers are available in both recessed and solid top configurations. Recessed covers are designed for concrete infill, enabling a surface finish that provides effective slip resistance and blends with surrounding materials. Solid top variants feature a raised lozenge pattern, offering a durable, slip-resistant surface without the need for infill.
The system is highly adaptable, with options for single covers, continuous duct runs, and multispan layouts. Multispan arrangements incorporate removable structural beams, allowing unobstructed access to the entire chamber when required.
Precision-machined seating faces ensure stability in service, while keyway systems and lifting mechanisms provide safe, controlled operation during cover removal. Additional features such as closed keyways and optional ventilation further enhance performance and longevity.
Suitable for applications including service ducts, pipe trenches, access chambers, and light traffic infrastructure, Gatic COEX covers deliver a balanced solution of strength, practicality, and cost efficiency for a wide range of construction and utility projects.
